Self-Tapping Screws are also known as Sheet Metal Screws. There are several types of these available. Type A, Type AB, and Type B. These are used in the sheet metal industries as well as in softer materials such as nylon or plastic. There is another type called a Hi/Low screw which is more specific to the plastic industry.
