Nuts
Nuts, used opposite mating bolts to fasten together stacks of parts, make up a large section of the supply at Cal Fasteners, Inc. A nut is a type of hardware fastener with a threaded hole. Used with a bolt, the partners are kept together by a combination of their threads' friction, a slight stretch of the bolt, and compression of the parts. The most common shape for nuts is hexagonal, with the six sides giving a good granularity of angles for tool approach. Other specialized shapes exist for certain needs, such as wing nuts for finger adjustment.
Cal Fasteners offers different types of nuts, all made to precise dimensions, and from the finest quality materials. From square and hex machine screw nuts to wing nuts, either forged or stamped, CFI can supply your business with parts that perform.
